Game Party only wants to be a simple game, and it succeeds at that goal.

We have played nearly every game on Game party 3 and so far have not had any problems with the controls. I had originally purchased the original Game Party when it had come out and found it enjoyable for what it is. These are nice games to sit down with friends and family and play together, the graphics aren't amazing but the game in itself is enjoyable, and this version has a lot included. I gave my original Game Party to a friend that really liked it since this edition has all of the games included from the other previous editions- which I think is a good value.
I am pretty certain that the publishers intent was not to win game of the year with this title, it is a family game, and it does that pretty well.
The youngest person to play this with us was ten, the oldest fifty-six and so far everyone has enjoyed it and been able to work the controls just fine.
If you don't own any of the other Game Party games than this is a good buy, I bought it already owning the original version and feel that we have got our money out of it, and will definitely continue to play it.
Repetitive

the game overall is ok for what i payed. it is repetitive in a few ways. all games use the smae basic motion along with the "A" button, the only difference is the speed you swing or the direction you swing. which is still ok as most wii games seem to be that way. the biggest gripe is that when you start every game you have to re-pick your player order and character again...every time, even though if you have 4 people playing and those 4 people never change order you still have to pick your order over again...every game, every time. also you dont use your already created mii, you have to use the character you have to create or use a generic one already created, which is kinda dumb as nintendo created the mii system for that exact reason so why would a company choose not to use a system already set up but choose to pay people to create a sub-par character system that no one whats in the first place... anyway the game is just ok in my opinion, however family members and friends seem to like the game very much even with the issues i point out, and these same issues are mentioned by family and friends but they still seem to really like the game.
Super Fun, Easy Play for Everyone

I really love this game. It's a great party game that everyone from little kids to grandma to hard gamers can play. Anyone can pick up a remote and quickly play. There is a great variety of games. Lots of fun.

I only wish you could create a permanent profile with your character and name so you didn't have to keep reentering it.
Great Game

I was a little skeptical at first to buy this because of the reviews, but I actually really like it. There are a TON of games that you can choose from and they're all really fun! If this game was $50 like a lot of wii games, than I would suggest holding off on it, but for the price, it's great. I stayed up till 3 AM playing it...

Nice Games needs beater swing control

Reviewer: B5 Ranger,
Nice that it has both Game Party 1 and 2 in Game Party 3. It was said they improved the games some. My only beef is the strength of your swing is from how hard and long you back swing each one. It is not based on speed of swing or motion of the swing. It is point and back jerk the controller and release when you get a power level you like. But you need fast reflexes to do this.
When trying to bounce a ball off a wall or rail or gate it did not give a real angle most the time. They do try harder to get this correct with the pool and all. I bought this because this was said to be better than others and had the best Put Put golf at a rating of 4 out of 10 stars. There is one other game group you can by in the carnival line that may have a better golf and play dress up but never bought it. Have read that some of these 3rd party games totally fake the hardness of swing and all. So I am glad this one tries to get it.

I purchased this game thinking it would be better than the previous two versions, but i found that it was missing some of the games that i remembered. Not at all what I expected; i got bored with the game.
So much fun!!

I'm not sure what the person who gave this a bad review was thinking. These games are tons of fun. Almost all of them involve physical activity and strategy. They are all multi-player as well which means fun for the whole family. Some of my favorites are horseshoes, darts, the quarterback game and bocci ball. Yes, the controller is sometimes inaccurate but that's part of the deal when you buy this system. No technology is perfect because it's all man-made. Give 'em a break. After buying PS3 games with a price tag of $60, only having to spend $30 is a great value as well. No complaints here.
Many Games And Many Disappointments

I bought this game a couple of says ago thinking it would be just as good as Wii Resort from all the reviews I first found but what a letdown this game turned out to be at the end. The one major issue is the remote sensitivity to motion control, one game shows you throwing the remote back than forward while holding the A button to make an action and when trying this motion it worked only about 30 percent of the time with half the games. The other major issues is the power and distance situation in the mini-games. one is when you play the horse shoe throwing game it supposedly shows you the distance and power you using but none of it worked, I would throw light or hard and the settings would stay the same way making it more irritating than fun to play these games. The other thing most people will see is the cheap remake the game does with earlier mini-games like their version of the bowling or golf games from wii sports and such but vastly sorrier than the mentioned games before this one. Like one reviewer said if you're expecting the same fun and entertainment with this game like you did with Wii Sports or Wii Resorts than think again. Sadly I wish I had taken the advice of that review before buying this cheap imitation of much better sports games that are out there..
