I actually bought this as a gift for my "better half" who often found the connection wire from the wii remote to the will nunchuck in the way of easy game play during games such as Wii tennis.

I had no idea how much easier it would make my own gameplay!

I actually hadn't noticed how often one has to be hindered by the wire of the original remote until I no longer had it there!

We hooked it up, charged it for 12 hours, pushed the sync button and wow! gameplay got better!

I especially enjoy active games on the Wii such as Wii EA Sports. Because that requires tucking the nunchunck into a leg pocket while the wire connects to the Wii remote...this makes it a snap and the wire is never in the way of body moves when punching, swinging, doing lunges, etc. I actually think it slips in and out of the leg strap for EA Sports more easily than the original nunchuck.

Also the shape of it makes it fit better in your hand than the original.

I've never had one second of issues, problems, or anything negative...it's been an all-positive experience and made us better at each game because our hands are more free to play with no encumbrance or hooking up and unhooking for various games.

Conclusion: One member of our household knew what a help this would be in gameplay and had me order it. I figured the original remote and nunchuck were just fine until I got this and saw and felt the difference! A must-have gadget.

This wireless chuk is great! I enjoy the fishing and hunting games, and the chuk cord always ties me up. NO MORE! I highly recommend this chuk. It plugs right into the Wii for easy recharging. The only drawback is that a remote unit plugs into the back of the wii remote with clips that make next to impossible to get off again to recharge it in the recharging cradle. I just cut off the clip and problem solved. Showed it to my buddy, and he immediately got one himselfNintendo Wii Wireless Playchuk Pro. I plan to get one for my other remotes too.
Does what is says

This is great for wireless. My only problem is you have to sync it everytime you use it and sometimes while you are using it. The sync button is very small and I have already broken one of them (I bought 2 of these) If you have to push a button to sync everytime you use it the button should be more sturdy.
Works Great--when it works at all

I was very excited when I first got this. I tried it out after charging it for a couple of hours (directions said 12 hours at first try). It didn't make connection (you have to sync the Wii remote and the Playchuk) the first time. I plugged it back in and tried again the next day. It connected and worked great! However, it doesn't make consistent connection. It seems that it will make connection about 1 in 5 times. And, once it won't make a connection, I've never been able to get it to connect unless I turn off the Wii console, let the Wii remotes time out, and try again. Even then it doesn't always work. Perhaps I got a bad one . . . or perhaps the product isn't that great. I'm sending it back and trying a different brand and hope it works better.
Super when it works, but not so great in EA Sports Active

I recently bought this nunchuck and while it does work as stated I found that it frequently just "quits", while using it in EA Sports Active. By quit I mean that the nunchuck just turns off. No warning. Nada. Unfortunately, turning it back on requires pulling the receiver from the Wii Remote, plugging it back in and re-syncing. A real hassle when you're in the middle of an exercise.

I thought that this was just a fluke, when it happened the first two times, but today it did it twice.

I don't use it for other games, so I don't know if the problem shows up in them, but it's now officially flaky enough that I won't trust it with EA Sports Active until I contact the vendor for a possible solution or exchange.

Good product

It took a couple of times to figure out the order/timing of syncing the wireless nunchuk, but now it works every time. It seems as solid and responsive as the official Nintendo version, doesn't seem to chew through batteries to quickly, and does what it's supposed to. What more can you ask?
Mine (from Amazon) won't sync with itself. It's going back.

First of all let me state that unless the rest of these reviews are shills, the concept must be working in some environments. Just not in mine. It's unfortunate too, because I had high hopes for this device. I wouldn't even care if I had to sync it every time I turned it on - a nuisance yes, but worth the wireless convenience. I'm just a little cynical right now because I've tried everything to get it to sync but no dice. What's strange is that it behaves like it's turned on but it JUST WON'T SYNC. Maybe I'm being a tad melodramatic with a bad unit, but then again:

1) Why doesn't AMAZON sell this product anymore, and
2) If this concept was proven, why doesn't Nintendo make one?

Anyway, it's going back and I won't be able to get another to edit this review. C'est La Vie, iCON LTD.
works wonders!

I wanted a wireless nunchuk that would not get me all tangled up in wires. This nunchuk works great and is easy to connect to your controller. It's easy to sync and charge too.
Whew!

I can't believe no one else has mentioned this! If you don't wear glasses, I still recommend you get a glasses repair kit before you buy this. I fought the strap for over a half an hour before finally being able to shove it through the too small hole with the smallest screwdriver in the repair kit. After that, it worked well, the charge seems to be getting longer the more times I use it and the sync gets better with use, so I will probably enjoy it more as time goes on, but the initial setup left a really bad taste in my mouth, so it gets a not so great review.

It works great. Recharges really easily right on the USB port on the Wii.
