| Works just like it says. You can clip it to your pants or the provided belt. Unlike other products offered you don't put it in a pouch so you don't have to worry about the buttons getting pushed when you use it. Only problem is that the clip is in an awkward position, so I just attach the clip to my belt and then slide the remote onto the clip when I need to put it down. I purchased it to use while I was doing yoga and it works perfectly. |
Not worth spending the money

Before I got this belt/swivel case, I was tucking the wii remote into the waistline of my workout shorts because the sensor never picked up motion when the remote was placed in my pocket. Now that I've bought this combo, I will also be going back to my old method of tucking the remote in the waistline of my shorts...
I read the reviews and the biggest complaint seemed to be the size was too small. I have a small waist (28-1/2 inches at the navel), so I thought this would be the right size for me. It was not even close. The velcro only goes part of the way around the belt, which allows for a pretty sizeable waist. I had to tie the belt around my waist instead. OK. Not a big deal - a little less than ideal, but if it works I'm game.
My even bigger complaint is about how the remote dangles freely from the clip - allowing for random "flinging" motions when you're running. The sensor thus picks up a varying pace and doesn't account for the workout you are really putting into the run.
Bottom Line: I would not recommend this to ANYONE - small waist or large waist. The concept is good, but without creating some sort of support to keep the wii remote from flinging around during a run, it is no better than keeping the remote in your pocket. Both methods foster a random and varying motion, but I've already spent money on my pockets - I don't need to waste more on this unit. |

| I purchased this for doing the Wii Fit running. It works pretty good. The belt is elastic with velcro and will stretch to fit almost any adult. |
