Works on wii AND xbox!

I was hesitant buying this product because of the other reviews, but lucky I got a working one and I'm so glad. I originally bought this for the wii, but I also have a xbox360, so I pondered and decided to give it a shot. To my surprise it worked, works better than my friend's microphone that comes with the guitar/band hero bundle or rock band. It's a great price and it'll probably work for ps2/ps3 consoles, but don't take my word for it, I'm just assuming since it worked with my xbox. Oh and another discovery I made was that one of the components it comes with is a microphone jack splitter usb plug thingy. Which means, you can use any microphone that has 3.5 mm jack to sing duet with your game console. I know, I just tried it, because I was just wondering and it worked, but it has to be a 3.5 mm jack, ones used to be plugged into a computer and the like, not into an amp or an upscale karaoke machine which the one with a fatter jack.

This was the lowest priced USB mic I found to replace the original mic on Rock Band for the Wii console.
It works better than the original mic from the game.

Not Logitech -> Not compatable with every wii game I've tried :(

Got this microphone off amazon as an alternative to the logitech ones that are commonly used for the american idol and disney karaoke games. I ordered this in advance of getting these games and when I finally did, I found that I was stuck with a microphone that doesn't work at all :(
Be better off just buying the logitech one to start with I guess? |

It works great the only thing I didn't like is that when I plugged in a second microphone this one dominated. So it's great for a single user.
Works Great With Beatles Rock Band

We bought this microphone to use with the Beatles Rock Band game for the Wii. We plugged the microphone into one of the USB ports on the back of the Wii and the Rock Band game recognized the mic automatically. We have had a lot of fun singing along with game and the microphone has worked great.
Fabulous Microphone

I just received this microphone last week and is working out fabulous. Initially I was concerned about getting a wired microphone for the Wii, but there is plenty of wire to allow for movement. I notice that if you get too close to the microphone while singing, there is a little bit of feedback but nothing horrible. It truly has enhanced our Guitar Hero experience. And worth the money!
