I bought this set mainly for my girlfriend who loves Wii sports but sometimes has trouble visualizing which way the wiimote has to face to get the intended reaction. This set solved that problem.

I've seen other sets like this available but chose to avoid them (i didn't like the manufacturers). The nerf material in this set is what sold me...its soft yet still firm and it feels great in your hands (not too light or too heavy).

Make sure you give your self even more room to play now.
Not Easy for Small Kids to Use

Dispite the so-so reviews, we went ahead and purchased these for our kids (ages 4 and 6) thinking they may make the Wii Sports games more realistic for them. They didn't. Instead the Nerf handles made the games more awkward for the kids.

The HUGE parental downside for these handles is that the kids (with their smaller and weaker hands) were not able to remove the various heads from the base remote handle on their own (even I had some difficulty in interchanging them). The kids like to jump from game to game, and changing the handles became an immediate headache.

As previously stated somewhere, when playing baseball you need to remove the Wii remote to pitch, which was incredibly annoying for the 6-year-old who plays against the computer, and could not get the Wii remote removed from the Nerf handle quickly enough to swing at the first computer-thrown pitch (the computer doesn't wait for you).

I took a survey, and both kids voted to return both sets that we bought. If the set was about 1/3 of the price, we might have kept them just for the golf club, but they're not, so they're being returned.

On the plus-side, these handles seem to be sturdy and well made.
Great for older stronger teens to adults.

This is the best. Well-made, strong, durable. Feels so real. Like your there playing the games. My wife and I are elderly and this is the best indoor fitness fun money can buy.
adds to the fun

Purchased this for my husband and I after we received a Wii for Christmas from our kids. We are grandparents and are not of the video game generation. It really helps us visualize and makes swinging just a remote more sensible. Now I will have to purchase another set because my husband doesn't want to share! (just like a little kid!)
Interesting diversion, but not really needed

Well, these things are what they say they are - little nerf sports gear that you can use with the wiimote.

What may not be entirely clear from the photos is that these items are much smaller than their real world equivalents. While this is certainly nice if you've got a bunch of people flailing around in your living room, it also means that you're still left with a pretty rough approximation of the actual activity. The golf club, for example, will only reach to around my knees - the larger grip around the wiimote is nice, but I'm still not able to swing this as I would a real club.

Furthermore, it's a bit difficult to interchange and remove the attachments. They snap together quite solidly, but disassembly is a bit of a chore. This fact is made more obvious due to the way the attachments hinder the "mouse" functionality of the wiimote - you must remove the attachment in order to point at the screen.

When all was said and done, we used these a few times and then shuffled them off to the side. They're a neat idea, but they just don't add enough to the experience to justify using them regularly.
Great for kids and adults using the Wii Remote with Sports Games

I put two sets under the tree for Christmas. Glad I did. The Nerf brand are foam (not plastic). They have a good weight to them, and interchange easily with the remote. Every once in awhile, everyone using them has accidently smacked another person or object (including TV screen) when caught up in the moments of tennis or golf. Those are the moments I am so glad we got the Nerf ones. Nothing has been damaged or broken by these events (although, there was a drink spilled this way).

For the sports games enthusiasts, I highly recommend this product as a way of feeling more involved in the game. Also, it helped our 5 yr old hold the remoted correctly and learning the proper movements for tennis, golf and baseball games.
Can't use with Sport Resort

I purchased this item thinking it would go well with the Wii Sports Resort (since golf is on that game). Turns out that you cannot use this item with Sports Resort b/c it requires the Wii MotionPlus. The Wii MotionPlus will not fit inside the housing for the wand. So you either have a Wii MotionPlus wand that you can use with the Sports Resort games OR you have a Wii wand without the MotionPlus that will fit inside the Nerf housing. Wish I would have noticed that before I spent the $20.
whach you talking about willis

the nerf sports pack was the best thing i took a chance on and it paid off i had read all the reviews and was very sceptical about buying it but i rolled the dice and bought the black set red set green set and the blue set now everyone in my famiy has their own and we love it i don't know where people say you have to take off the bat to pitch you don't we pitch with the bat on and it works fine the gulf club add a weight to no way you just need to swing a little harder its so easy you can swing with one hand and to change pieces is a snap you can do it in less then 5 seconds that easy the only flaw we found was that the tennis racket was a wee big for my kids hand but they adjusted to that and everythings aok.we love the product and it makes the game more realistic all we can say is nerf you've came through again with a hit once again we give this product a 2 thumbs up way up. take a chance i did what's the worst thing that can go wrong you have to send it back oooooooooooohhhhhhhh. peace out the dude

I like the Wii Nerf Sports pack. It is padded, large enough to handle and has enough that you can switch betwen games. Now, I did have to buy two so everyone could play together.
nobody is using them

Well my kids can't be bothered with taking the rubber cover off the wii remote to add on these attachments. My son felt that the attachments made using the remote buttons akward. I wish I didn't purchase. Now they sit in a pile.
