Controller is so sensitive that it doesn't work

I purchased this wireless nunchuk to use with my EA Active game. I loved the idea of a cord free workout. However, the nunchuk is SO sensitive that the game continually tells me to stand still before I can start the exercise and I wasn't able to do any exercises with it at all. It is a total disappointment.
